MUSANEI is an image based database on Banana resources (Musa species ) of North Eastern India. This database has been developed for use in identification of wild and cultivated banana, research and development activities for crop improvement programmes in future. The database is financially sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, New Delhi through a research Project “Diversity assessment, germplasm conservation and database development on banana resources of North Eastern India” through the Grant No. DBT-NER/AGRI/33/2016.
